Victoria Justice In ‘Seventeen’ — Flaunts Her Bra & Toned Stomach

Victoria Justice went grunge and channeled the ’90s in her fun new cover and photo shoot for ‘Seventeen’ magazine’s February 2015 issue. We love her laid back look — she even showed off her Calvin Klein underwear!
Victoria Justice was introduced to the world through her Nickelodeon show Victorious, but now the 21-year-old starlet claims that she is all grown up and moving on to edgier roles. She shared the deets on her new MTV show, and even opened up about her long distance relationship to the Feb. 2015 issue of Seventeen. Get the details below.
Seventeen totally captured Victoria’s relaxed luxe style in this fun cover shoot. She got in front of photographer Anne Menke‘s lens and posed on a Brooklyn rooftop in a range of colorful, youthful looks.
She’s just a little over a month away from her 22nd birthday, but she looked every bit of Seventeen on the cover, wearing a bright yellow top and oversized boyfriend jeans held on her waist by a black leather belt that reads “LOVE.”
Inside the mag, she got a little sexier and gave an ode to the “Marky Mark” Calvin Klein ads wearing some Calvin undies of her own along with jean overalls and a pink leather jacket.
Victoria Justice Seventeen Magazine
Her hair was styled effortlessly in a sleek middle part on the cover — inside, she was captured wearing a messy bun and minimal, natural looking makeup.
Victoria Justice: ‘You’re Probably Going To Have Your Heart Broken’
Victoria has shed her Nickelodeon image and is now starring in MTV’s Eye Candy, which will air Jan. 12 at 10 pm. She says, “It’s a very sexy thriller-drama. Victorious was musical singing, happy times, and colorful, and this show is the polar opposite, which is 100 percent why I was drawn to it.”
Along with her growing up comes a very serious long distance relationship with her beau, Pierson Fodé. Even though she claims young relationships are about learning and even getting your heart broken, she goes out of her way to keep her romance alive:
“It all comes down to chemistry — it’s either there or it’s not. And relationships are not always easy. I’m currently in a relationship [with actor Pierson Fodé], and he’s in L.A., so it’s important to find ways to stay connected — even just playing Words With Friends and Skyping when you can.”
Victoria’s Seventeen spread hits newsstands on Jan. 6. Are you a fan her cover look, HollywoodLifers? Tell us what you think in the comments below!

Audrey Hepburn exhibition staged on site of night club where she got her big break

Audrey Hepburn’s feline beauty ushered in a new era of unconventional Hollywood glamour. Now, the face that launched a thousand film posters is going on display at the National Portrait Gallery (NPG) on the site at which she was first talent spotted.
An exhibition charting her life and career will open at the London museum next summer coinciding with the 65th anniversary of the actress’s performance as a dancer and chorus girl in Petite Sauce Tartare at night club Ciro’s, which is now part of the NPG.
The display will follow Hepburn’s childhood in Holland, her early years as a dancer and chorus girl in the West End, her Hollywood career and her later philanthropic work.
Audrey Hepburn: Portraits of an Icon
Highlights include snaps of Hepburn practising ballet as a young woman, and examples of her early work in London as a fashion model for photographs by Antony Beauchamp, in addition to the highly successful Crookes Lacto-Calamine skin cream campaign, photographed by Angus McBean in 1950.
Images from the Hepburn family’s own archive will present the unseen face of one of the most photographed women of the 20th century alongside iconic portraits by leading photographers including Richard Avedon, Cecil Beaton, Angus McBean, Irving Penn and Norman Parkinson.
Also included in the exhibition will be original film posters and vintage magazine spreads, from the Picturegoer in 1952 to the front cover of Life magazine, featuring Hepburn in Givenchy for her role in Breakfast at Tiffany’s in 1961.
“It is particularly appropriate that the exhibition will be staged in such close proximity to where she performed as a young woman at the very start of her career,” said the NPG’s deputy director Pim Baxter.
Audrey Hepburn: Portraits of an Icon runs from 2 July until 18 October 2015.

Rihanna’s British Fashion Awards Outfit

Rihanna’s British Fashion Awards Outfit: Goes Braless & Flashes Crotch
Leave it to RiRi to leave very little to the imagination, showing up in a coat and a pair of sheer tights. What do you think of her sexy style statement?
Rihanna showed up rocking something that only she could pull off, (per usual!), when she stepped out at the British Fashion Awards on Dec. 1 in London. The 26-year-old songstress opted for an oversized velvet tuxedo jacket, and it actually looked like she borrowed it from the boys! The seriously sexy part was the fact that RiRi rocked virtually nothing underneath.
rihanna british fashion awards
On another star we wouldn’t be too sure about this look, but it’s so signature RiRi. She (slightly) covered up by pairing the oversized jacket with sheer black tights and a pair of black ankle strap sandals. A diamond choker gave the entire get-up a more glam vibe, as did the fringe clutch she carried. She added to the edgy style by pairing it with neon green nails — they totally popped on the red carpet.
The sexy songstress kept the focus on the jacket, (and her cleavage!), by wearing her hair up in a bun as to not take away from the revealing neckline of the look. Kohl-rimmed eyes polished off her head-turning look.
Not only did RiRi flash her cleavage, but she also flashed her crotch when she posed on the red carpet to reveal black briefs.

Mila Kunis Reveals Petite Post-Baby Body 8 Weeks After Giving Birth

Wow, check out Mila Kunis! Just 8 weeks after giving birth to her first child, she has her tiny figure back.
Mila Kunis, 31, looks amazing after being pregnant with her first child, Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher. After only 8 weeks since giving birth to her baby girl, Mila’s body is back and maybe even better than ever!
Mila Kunis Reveals Post-Baby Body 8 Weeks After Birth
Celeb moms must come with some sort of post-pregnancy skinny gene. Either that, or they are just not human!
For instance, we have Mila, a first-time mom who gave birth on Oct. 1 — almost exactly 2 months before she stepped out on Nov. 25 in Los Angeles.
However, it’s no surprise that Mila was able to maintain her petite figure so soon after being pregnant. She actively attended yoga classes all the way to the end of her third trimester!
Mila Kunis After Baby
Congrats to Mila on her slim figure AND her baby girl. 2014 sure is a great year for her and her future hubby, Ashton Kutcher!
Ashton Explains Wyatt’s Name
One month after little Wyatt was brought into the world, her daddy, Ashton, gushed about her non-stop while promoting the final season of his TV series, Two and a Half Men.
One of the things Ashton enthusiastically explained is how he and his fiancee, Mila, came up with their daughter’s name.
“I had to get the creative juices going, so we were going to a Lakers game, and I just started listing off anything and everything I saw: ‘sign, truck, wall, door … ‘ She [was] like, ‘Shut up!’” Ashton explained.
“Then I was like, ‘I’ve got a really dumb idea. What about Wyatt?’ She goes, ‘That’s it.’”
And, that’s how little Wyatt was named!

Faking it in faux fur

It’s nearly two decades since a crop of supermodels including Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford posed naked in the iconic PETA anti-fur adverts under the slogan “we’d rather go naked than wear fur”. Nowadays thanks to a raft of faux alternatives, there’s no need to go to such chilly extremes.
On the catwalk, designers are increasingly opting to stick with synthetic fur – Stella McCartney, Christopher Raeburn, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger have all incorporated the material into their winter collections.
The trend has even led to a set of emerging labels which specialise in faking it. Shrimps is the idea of London-based designer Hannah Weiland, who has made a name for herself with her signature witty designs; her playful, fuzzy fur take on classics includes the addition of Breton stripes and unusual colour combinations.
Faux fur
Unreal Fur is an Australian label; its approach is to create faux fur styles with a luxurious finish that can emulate the look and feel of fur but without any of the ethical issues. Similarly positioned, London-based Faux England has quality materials and craftsmanship at its centre.
Faux fur doesn’t need to be confined to outerwear; all manner of accessories are also now available with synthetic fibres. Traditionalists can’t go wrong with a stole or a hat. For a different take on the trend try a bag; clutches and shoulder bags work particularly well adding extra texture to an eveningwear look, but unless the abominable snowman is your outfit inspiration, just don’t wear them all at once.

French Perfurmer Kilian Hennessy Releases Scented Jewelry

Kilian Hennessy, founder of the famed Kilian fragrance brand beloved by Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Rihanna, has released a new three-set scent collection called "Addictive State of Mind." The set is inspired by addictions, with names such as, "Intoxicated" (Turkish coffee), "Light My Fire" (cigar) and "Smoke for the Soul" (cannabis-inspired). "I really want to speak more to men with this collection," Hennessy explained, as his past collection, "In the Garden of Good and Evil," was geared more toward women, with floral, citrus and vanilla notes, and white and gold packaging.
With an eco-luxury motto in mind, all of the bottles are made to last and be refillable. "For me, real luxury can’t be disposable," he said. Hennessy keeps cufflinks and pens in his recycled boxes and yes ladies, he wants you to reuse the intricately engraved metal and dark wood box as a clutch since the vision behind the packaging was based on a vintage 1970s cigar box.
After working for Alexander McQueen, Gucci and Armani, he decided it was time to create his own brand of unique scents. "I knew it would really make me happy and I would feel complete if I built something with my two hands," said Hennessy, who is the descendent of Hennessy founder Richard Hennessy. He became CEO of the famous cognac house in the '70s before merging the business to become what is now known as the LVMH group and then selling it in the '80s. "I always found that a little sad."
So, does the man behind the fragrances have a signature scent? Not quite. "I use perfume as a wardrobe. I don’t want to wear the same shoes or jacket everyday, but in summer, I do wear Bamboo Harmony almost everyday," he shared.
For a totally new endeavor, the brand is also releasing scented jewelry — and we're not talking about the old-school plastic rings with perfume in the center. The holiday Studio 54 collection is inspired by the club itself and reminiscent of a disco ball decorated with Swarovski crystals.
He got the idea to create the aromatic jewelry line after being approached to create body lotions and shower gels, but didn’t want to compromise the formula. It did, however, inspire the concept of layering scents and the idea that accessories could release a subtle trace of aroma throughout the day. Another important piece of the puzzle was image. "We got to thinking about how to make our perfume visible and beautiful. It really is in our DNA because everything we make has to have the capacity to last a lifetime and jewelry is something you pass down." This is done through micro-encapsulating a scent onto the silk chord (the shopper chooses one of five best-selling scents) or by spraying a caged piece of porous ceramic (pick any scent and the costumer can recharge their disk at home with their favorite fragrance).
The women's accessories are available in rhodium or plated 18-karat gold, starting at $250, and men's leather bracelets, beginning at $195. "This is just the beginning," said the Sorbonne graduate, who is also in talks to work on a collection with Paige Novick in the spring with plans on creating a larger jewelry collection in the fall. Shoppers can pick the jewelry up for a limited time at Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills, or visit the company’s website. Smells like a good plan to us.

How to Achieve Elizabeth Banks' 'Mockingjay' Premiere Updo

Strong and structured yet feminine is how Adir Abergel, the celebrity hairstylist who gave Elizabeth Banks a modern updo for Monday night's Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 L.A. premiere, would describe the actress' look.
The seasoned stylist (Anne Hathaway and Gwyneth Paltrow are also clients) says he was inspired by the gorgeous lines and structured bodice of Banks’ burgundy paisley Leonard gown when creating the look. "Initially, it was going to be even more structured," says Abergel about his initial vision, "but then I softened the front, adding more femininity and movement."
To build the upswept look, Abergel began with a strong foundation. "For me, when you’re creating any structural hair it’s all about the foundation," he says. "I think about it like architecture; if you don’t have a strong foundation, it’s not going to work."
A vanity full of Vidal Sassoon styling products were employed to make sure the actress’ hair had a strong base. Abergel says he relied on the Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Boost & Lift Air Mousse to give the hair height and hold. He applied a tennis-ball-size amount of the product to her damp hair and then sectioned it off, starting with a triangular section at the very front of the head, creating a blueprint for the updo.
Next, using a boar bristle round brush, he blow-dried small sections of the remaining bottom half of hair upward, to achieve maximum volume. Once the hair was dry, Abergel sprayed Vidal Sassoon Pro Series ColorFinity Finishing Hairspray on ½ inch vertical sections of the bottom half of the hair and then brushed back each section to create a strong base for the twist. He gathered all of the hair (except the triangle section in the front) toward the top of the crown and began to twist, while securing the style with hairpins to hold the knot in place.
Last, he removed the pins holding the triangular section on the top of the head, and wrapped that hair around a ¼ inch curling iron to create soft waves and texture. The result was what Abergel envisioned, combined with what felt like a slightly futuristic and high drama feel — perhaps a subliminal nod to her overtly coiffed character in the film, Effie Trinket.
"It is a nod to the futuristic feel of the film," says Abergel. "But I think this is a much more wearable version of her character."

Click to the official pics of her wedding dress!
Solange Knowles’ Wedding Dress
Solange looked equally sophisticated as she did chic in a gorgeous white wedding gown with a cape, as seen on Vogue.
The bride worked with Humberto Leon to create her perfect wedding dress. She also wore Jill for Lady Grey bracelets, and Stuart Weitzman shoes.
Her makeup and hair also flawlessly complimented her insanely beautiful wedding dress! We wouldn’t expect anything less from the songstress who always beats to her own drum both on stage and on the red carpet.

And, clearly, a keen sense of fashion is important to her music video producer hubby, Alan, who looked so handsome in an all-white suit!
Before the nuptials, Solange arrived in a cream pantsuit that accentuated her fit figure. The outfit had a cape, too!
Solange Knowles’ Wedding: Beyonce, Jay Z & More Attend
Music’s power couple, Beyonce and Jay Z, also attended the Southern nuptials. Beyonce looked drop dead gorgeous in a fitted dress, while Jay Z donned a hot white suit.
Beyonce and Jay Z’s daughter Blue Ivy, 2, came along for the wedding, too! Looking absolutely adorable, Blue Ivy wore a white dress fit for the little princess!
We wish Solange and Alan all the happiness in the world as they start this new chapter together.

Kate Middleton preps for the Tokyo Olympics (but is she heading to NYC first?)

As promised, we are delivering you the latest in Kate Middleton news, as the Duchess of Cambridge made an appearance this afternoon visiting the SportsAid athlete workshop at the GSK Human Performance Lab in Brentford, West London. As Kate is a true sportswoman herself—we’ve seen her play volleyball, Ok?—it’s no surprise that the Duchess is a huge advocate for British athletes, as she joined the organization back in April 2013. Meeting with over 30 potential 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games athletes, the Duchess showed us that pregnancy (albeit the morning sickness) suits her well.
Kate Middleton Fashion SportsAid Intro
While visiting the workshop, the Duchess looked (a lot) less than sporty as she opted for a fit-and-flare shirt dress by British designer Goat. She completed the ensemble with a pair of opaque tights, Russell & Bromley black suede boots and a matching clutch. Keeping her look minimal, she wore her hair down and matched her blue sapphire engagement ring with similar earrings.
As Kate has been on the mend after battling hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe case of acute morning sickness, her appearances have been rather restricted. However, rumour has it she will be set to join Prince William in New York in the upcoming month to unveil their new charity, United for Wildlife. All we have to do is hold our breathe and wait for confirmation (which we will, of course, report back on).

Taylor Swift’s ‘Good Morning America’ Outfit: Stuns In Sexy Crop Top

Taylor Swift looked sleek and sexy while rocking separates for her Good Morning America appearance in NYC on Nov. 11, where she was on hand to promote her new music video for “Blank Space.” The star showed off her long, toned frame in a form-fitting get-up that clung to her curves — she looked amazing!
Taylor rocked a black jacquard knit long-sleeved top with a matching skirt from the Resort 2015 collection from Calvin Klein. The silhouette was so sexy on the star while the print made it pop for her early morning appearance. While the form-fitting, clinging silhouette was a bit sexier than we’re used to seeing on Taylor, considering she has an affinity for crop tops seeing her rock this look came as no surprise.
taylor swift good morning america outfit
The star complimented the ensemble with a pair of bold red pumps which added a refreshing pop of color to the outfit — red is her favorite color, after all!
The star looked so sophisticated, matching her pointy pumps to her signature red lip while wearing her hair straight with her bangs framing her face — her look was pure perfection!
Everyday she steps out, Taylor shows off yet another amazing outfit — and this one is definitely one of our favorites! We can’t get enough of her ability to look perfectly poised and put together. Do you agree?

‘RHOA': Apollo Gets Sentenced To Jail & Asks Phaedra For A Divorce

Phaedra Parks knows how to make a statement. The mother-of-two leaves her husband Apollo Nida on the morning of his jail sentencing and doesn’t accompany him at the courthouse on the Nov. 9 premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Meanwhile, Kenya Moore is playing victim to Porsha Williams who slapped her at the Season 6 reunion, and NeNe Leakes is stripping down in Las Vegas.
Phaedra‘s husband Apollo is all alone on the morning of his jail sentencing.
Phaedra takes her kids to a hotel to keep them away from the paparazzi during this “tumultuous time,” while Apollo heads to court with no one except his brother Michael.
“She’s not taking the stand and telling the judge, ‘Hey, he’s a good father,'” Apollo cries to his brother. “At the end of the day, I’m by myself on the biggest day of my life.”
Phaedra defends herself, explaining, “I’ve got to be a parent first.” She explains Apollo is a “big boy” and he’s going to have to pay for his own decisions by himself. “I don’t have time to babysit a grown man…I didn’t get married to have this kind of drama.” Ouch.
In the end, Apollo was sentenced to eight years in jail, and Phaedra is struggling with how to deliver the news to her children, as the somber news coverage is splashed across the screen, and the housewives learn of Apollo’s fate. (Anyone else having deja vu? Weren’t we just watching another Housewives jail sentencing?)
Kenya Plays Victim To Porsha, After The Reunion Fight
Incase you forgot, Porsha slapped Kenya on the Season 6 reunion.
Porsha was demoted to a part-time cast member, but that’s not enough for Kenya — she’s pissed.
“Being physically attacked in front of the entire world was extremely humiliating and it’s been very difficult to live through,” Kenya tells the cameras.
Meanwhile, Porsha is at an extremely sexy photoshoot, flaunting her brand new assets, and making it very clear that she could care less about Kenya. “I’m working — I don’t know what she’s doing.”
Oh ladies, play nice!
Kenya found a new friend in Cynthia Bailey who’s no longer friends with NeNe (who happens to be emceeing an orgy Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas this episode). “I am living for this new Cynthia!” Kenya screams.
Apollo Befriends Kandi’s Husband After His Jail Sentencing
Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Premiere
All of the ladies are surprised that Phaedra didn’t accompany Apollo at his sentencing, but no one disagrees with her more than Kandi Burruss‘s husband, Todd Tucker.
Apollo visits Todd to vent. He explains that Phaedra failed to even call him, after he was ordered eight years behind bars.
On the other side of town, Kandi meets up with Phaedra in her penthouse suite, and asks her why she didn’t show up to court. She tells Phaedra that she should have gone with him, and puts it plain and simple: “Hillary stood by Bill Clinton when he was getting his d*** sucked.”
Oh boy.
Though Phaedra didn’t go with Apollo to court, she does admit that he’ll always have a special place in her heart, as he’s the father of her children.
Phaedra Comes Face-To-Face With Apollo
Phaedra finally returns home and reunites with Apollo.
“You abandoned me,” he says, adding “Family is supposed to stick by each other through thick and thin” to which Phaedra responds, “Were you thinking of your family when you did what you did?”
The couple fights back and forth (in front of the kids, may I add) and let’s just say, they don’t even agree to disagree.
“I care about my good name that I had prior to you,” Phaedra concludes and Apollo fires back, telling her that he wants a divorce. Her reaction? “If that’s what he wants, bon voyage.”
And we all know what happened next.

Gloria Steinem, Salma Hayek Pinault honored at Equality Now event

The event: Kathy Griffin hosted “Make Equality Reality,” a fundraiser for Equality Now, which advocates for the rights of women and girls around the world. The comedian deemed the subject to be so serious that she asked feminist Gloria Steinem, who along with with actress Salma Hayek Pinault was one of the evening's honorees, if it was OK to make people laugh.
So during Monday's ceremonies at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills, Steinem spoke onstage about the significance of laughter. “It happens when you learn something. It’s an 'aha' — it’s like an orgasm of the brain,” she said, describing laughter as an expression of the freedom that the organization is working toward.
A leader of the women’s rights movement since the 1960s, Steinem is a journalist and political activist. Hayek, an advocate in the campaign to stop violence against women, is married to Francois-Henri Pinault, CEO of Kering, the luxury conglomerate that is parent company to Gucci, an event sponsor along with Skype.
The scene: Videos documented the organization’s work, while a trio of young actors chronicled today’s injustices. But Griffin kept her narrative light, bouncing from subjects such as her friendship with the late Joan Rivers, the Kardashian culture and her 50th birthday a few years ago, when she enlisted Jane Fonda to help her meet Steinem, whom she called her “girl crush.”
Griffin offered a few opinions, too. “Let’s talk about feminism,” she said, “I am sick and tired of these young gals not owning this word.”
Gloria Steinem, Salma Hayek Pinault
The crowd: Record producer Quincy Jones, U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters of Los Angeles, actresses Mia Maestro and Daphne Zuniga and the organization’s global executive director, Yasmeen Hassan, addressed an audience of actors, philanthropists and activists, including Dana Delany, Rosanna Arquette, Rafael Amaya, Alison Pill, Aubrey Plaza, Hill Harper, Chloe Flower, Nicole Scherzinger, Mae Whitman, Priyanka Chopra, Paul Reiser, Dawn Olivieri, Lynda Resnick, Irena Medavoy, Jim Toth, Barbara Guggenheim and Joss Whedon. Sue Smalley and Paula Ravets co-chaired the dinner; Raining Jane performed.
The numbers: Tickets began at $1,000 with tables at the “Catalyst of Change” level going for $50,000. About 300 people attended the event which raised almost $600,000, organizers said.
Quotes of note: Speaking of her dreams as a youngster of becoming an actress and maybe one day winning an Oscar, Hayek said, “You know what? Life has given me always much better things than anything that I ever asked for, because I would have never, in my wildest dreams, imagined that Equality Now would give me an award for the work that I have done with so much passion on the same night as one of my heroes — Gloria.”
“This is much better than the Oscars,” she added.
Concluded Steinem at evening’s end, “If you think about the human race as a bird with two wings, you understand that if one is damaged or broken, no one can fly. So we are here tonight … to make sure that once again — as in times in the past — once again the human race can fly.”

Coco Rocha, after 1,000 poses, reposes for a conversation

In her decade-long career, Coco Rocha has danced down runways, leaped through the pages of fashion magazines and pranced across national TV ads.
All of which makes her the rarest of top models: one whose lively, often humorous personality is allowed to take center stage. In the process, the Canadian-born 26-year-old has also gained a reputation as the fastest poser in the industry, a talent that's on full display in "Study of Pose: 1,000 Poses by Coco Rocha" (Harper Design; $60), a new book collaboration with the photographer Steven Sebring.
Rocha, who is expecting her first child with husband-manager James Conran early next year, was ensconced on a high floor of Hong Kong's luxe Peninsula Hotel overlooking Victoria Harbour when we interrupted her breakfast for a phone chat.
No, we didn't storybook it at all. I just jumped around for three days straight, 10 hours a day. We also referenced lots of images from history, art and pop culture: Elvis, Charlie Chaplin, Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus," Grace Kelly.
Well, it's partly due to genetics — so thanks, Mommy and Daddy! [Laughs] But I'm not a workout fanatic; I don't, like, go to the gym or go boxing or anything, really. I mean, once in a while I'll go for a walk and maybe do a little run, but I'm just an active person — I move around a lot. And when I'm working, I give 110%, that's what I do. If I'm not sweating at work, I'm not doing my job! Besides, where I live, there aren't any gyms nearby anyway, so ….
I'm Canadian girl who lived in suburbia growing up, so I like it. Living in Manhattan was a lot of fun for a few years, but then it got a little overwhelming. You have a hard time finding a normal life there because you're working in the city and you go home and you're still in the city and then you go out at night and you're in the city … it can get to be too much. When I'm in the city, I work, but then I go home to my husband and relax. I like to watch TV, cook and wear my comfortable pajamas.
I jumped on it right away — it's great to take nice photos, I'm very grateful for it, but there's more to me than that. Twitter, Instagram, blogging — we might have 12 different platforms we use now. It gives me the chance to have my own voice, to get across my point of view, to show my personality. A lot of people have their publicists or someone else do it for them, but I do it myself. Even though it's really, really time-consuming, if you're your own business, it's important to do. Social media is a necessary tool.
Coco Rocha knows how to pose
Jean Paul Gaultier once told me most of his muses were people he saw on the street. He'd become fascinated by everything they did, from the way they walked to how they chewed gum. So a muse is meant to inspire the designer to the point where he knows why he does what he does. A few designers have used the word for me, and it's a beautiful honor. It's usually because you have a special bond, maybe the kind of relationship you might feel with a father.
Young models definitely still feel pressure to look a certain way, but there have been some changes in the past few years. The biggest is that underage models in New York state are now protected [Rocha campaigned for the law that limits working hours and calls for mandatory financial trusts, among other things]. And Kate Upton on fashion covers is definitely a good thing — it shows that the public has a voice in what they want to see. And I also have to say that in my 10-year span, there's more diversity in the industry now than ever before.
Iman and Cindy Crawford, because both are such smart businesswomen. Iman would go to shoots early on and they didn't have cosmetics for her skin type; they would literally tell her they didn't have anything to use, so she developed her own. She's one of the main reasons why cosmetics companies now cover such a broad range of skin types. And Cindy, you know, she was the sporty girl, the healthy girl; she'd just say no to doing a photo shoot for cigarettes. She branded herself and allowed herself to do what she wanted, like hosting MTV's "House of Style." She made it OK for models to be heard and not just seen.

‘Resurrection': Does Margaret Want To Kill All Of The Returned?

It looks like Maragret Langston (Michelle Fairley) won’t be able to hide those skeletons in her closet for much longer! Marty (Omar Epps) and Fred (Matt Craven) are hot on her trail, and they make a shocking discovery that could finally expose Margaret’s darkest secrets! Read on for the full recap of the Oct. 19 episode of Resurrection!
The episode opens on a flashback. A young man with a brace on his leg is being chased through the woods by a group of men and dogs. The men finally catch up to him and when they do, they hang him from a tree!
Suddenly we’re back in the present and Margaret Langston is staring at the same tree with the same expression on her face — so that little girl was obviously Margaret. Chilling!
Back at the Langstons’ place, Margaret finds Lucille (Frances Fisher) crying into some flowers on the front porch. It turns out it’s because it’s the 32-year anniversary of Jacob’s (Landon Gimenez) death. Every year on that day she takes flowers to his grave but not this year obviously. “Having him back … it’s a miracle,” Lucille tells Margaret. “But it doesn’t erase what it felt like to lose him.” Margaret says she’s not alone and offers to cook a family dinner to turn the “day of sadness” into one of “celebration.”
Over at Marty’s, Maggie (Devin Kelley) asks him how the military knew that the bodies were returned and Marty plays dumb. But he says they can still identify the bodies — they know they’re from the 1930s, they know that one man was black and the other was white, and that the white man walked with a limp. “Maybe these could be the first returned,” he says. Hmm.
Rachel (Kathleen Munroe) and Janine (Lori Beth Sikes) run into each other at the supermarket and have a surprisingly positive conversation until Rachel suddenly falls to the ground in pain! Janine takes Rachel to see Dr. Maggie, who tells Rachel that although the baby seems perfectly healthy, it’s growing twice as fast as a normal fetus! So bizarre!
Sheriff Fred asks his mother, Maragret, if she knows anything about the bodies because he believes they were originally buried beneath the Langston family factory. Margaret plays dumb and says she doesn’t have the faintest idea. Fred seems to buy this but at least we know he’s on the right track!
Resurrection Margaret Kill Returned
Meanwhile, Marty does some digging and finds an old newspaper article with the headline: “12 Langston Factory Workers Killed In Trucking Accident.” Later, Sheriff Fred discovers Marty’s clipping in his office and asks him what it is. Marty explains and also points out that the recently returned Arthur Holmes (Scott Michael Campbell) is one of the 12 factory workers who was killed. But this doesn’t make sense because Arthur said he died in a fire, Marty reasons. “Something doesn’t add up,” he says, puzzled. At this point, Fred is definitely suspicious but he doesn’t seem ready to confront Margaret head-on.
Instead, he asks her if she remembers a man named Arthur Holmes and she lies. But then Maggie tells Fred that Margaret visited Arthur at the clinic before he disappeared — plus, she told Maggie that she remembered him from when she was a child! Caught in a lie, Margaret!
When the time comes for Margaret’s “celebration” of Jacob’s death dinner, all hell breaks loose. Lucille accuses Fred’s estranged wife, Barbara, of killing Jacob, who died when he tried to rescue her from drowning. Barbara was meeting her lover, Sam, down by the river that day, and Lucille says that if Barbara had ended the affair when Henry told her to, then Jacob never would have been there and he never would have died. Barbara apologizes but Lucille says she can never make up for it.
Marty and Fred go to search the Langston factory, and stumble upon one of the returned. They take him to Maggie’s clinic, where there are even more returned — and they’re all sick!
Meanwhile, after the Langstons’ dinner from hell, Margaret tells Jacob the creepiest bedtime story ever, telling him about a “little girl” (aka herself) who knows it’s her responsibility to kill all the “demons” in order to protect her family — even though she’s become a “demon” herself. Wow — it sounds like Margaret wants all the returned dead! Something tell us things are about to get really crazy.

Cheryl's Kitsch Black Leather Headband: Shop Now

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has been upping her accessories game this week, with not one but two cute heabands.
A few days ago, the former X Factor judge gave us a sneek peek of her 2015 calendar, in which she's rocking some seriously cool lace embossed cat ears for her birthday month of June.
'My birthday month for my 2015 calendar', Cheryl wrote alongside June, in which she's seen pulling a selection of cheeky poses while her playful animal accessory takes centre stage.
And it looks like a topknot/hairband hybrid is here to stay, as now the singer's stepped out in another.
Turning up to the X Factor studios in London for her girls' rehearsals, the former Girls Aloud star looked cool and casual in her off-duty 'drobe.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini sports a cute oversized hair bow to the X Factor studio
A black and white check lumberjack shirt with contrasting pockets and collar gave Cheryl's outfit a dressed-down, boyish vibe, but Cheryl being Cheryl, she still found a way t up the Thursday glamour.
Dark kohl-lined eyes, contoured cheekbones and a dark berry gloss made up Cheryl's beauty look, while a neat topknot and a leather headband brought a stylish dose of kitsch '40s-housewife vibes.
Statement headbands are the simplest way to pep up your AW outfit, and ASOS do the best range.
Try this ASOS Knot Turban Headband (£6) or the Wide Lace Bow Headband (£6) for a slightly softer, more girly look.
Wear between hair washes, and make sure to pull your hair into an updo to avoid the preppy princess look.
Done!

Get Kate Bosworth's Easy-Breezy Wavy Ponytail

Kate Bosworth’s dramatic white one-sleeved, back-baring Alexandre Vauthier Couture dress isn’t the only thing that caught our eye at Saturday's Hammer Museum Gala in the Garden, which she attended with hubby Michael Polish. Her wavy ponytail provided the perfect counterpoint to the glamorous gown, tapping into the California-cool aesthetic she’s epitomized since Blue Crush.
Celebrity hairstylist Bridget Brager — who also styles the manes of stars like Kiernan Shipka, Ali Larter and Mindy Kaling — is responsible for the ponytail, which she calls "understated. The dress and jewels were such a statement and so beautiful that I wanted to keep on the cool side with a textured pony," says Brager. "She was going to a cocktail party, after all."
To start, Brager prepped Bosworth’s damp hair with O&M Atonic Thickening Spray. Then, "I dried her hair so as much natural texture would come out [as possible] — a lot of scrunching the hair up and over from side to side." Once it was dry, the stylist used a one-and-a-half-inch curling iron on random sections of hair, curling them horizontally up and then down on the same section, "so no curl pattern was the same. I wanted lived-in hair."
After curling, she sprayed Bumble & Bumble City Swept Finish onto the lengths of the hair and shook her mane well. "Next, I secured the ponytail with a bungie just under the crown of the head, and wrapped a piece of hair around it, securing it with a hairpin." Brager used a light spritz of Ellnet hair spray to keep everything in place. Voila — an ultra-cool ponytail that can go from lunch to cocktail party.

‘RHONJ': Teresa Giudice Screams At Melissa Gorga & Dino Manzo

The Real Housewives of New Jersey began to prep for Dina Manzo‘s charity event, Project Ladybug, on the Oct. 12 episode, and if you know anything about the Housewives, you know that fancy galas are where it all goes down. The best part? Teresa Giudice is at the center of all of it.
“The whole word ‘mother-f***er’ has a whole new meaning.” That’s what Rosie said, in response to last week’s episode’s drama.
The fallout from Jim’s “disgusting rumor” about Teresa Aprea‘s mom hooking up with her husband Rino has now involved all of the housewives.
Kathy Wakile and Jacqueline Laurita talk about it with Rosie, and they all agree it’s way below the belt to bring in anyone’s mom.
Teresa Giudice, Dina Manzo, Melissa Gorga and Amber Marchese are all gabbing about the Florida drama, too, as they enjoy a spa day. Well, until Melissa gets on the phone with the twins and things get awkward because Teresa and Nicole aren’t happy with the other Teresa, since she was supposedly the one who began to spread the nasty rumor that Rino hooked up with his mother-in-law.
RHONJ Teresa Giudice
“They’re hot-headed Italians,” Teresa Giudice says. “I used to be a hot-headed Italian, but you live and learn.”
Amber Sticks By Jim’s Side After His Major Diss
While everyone else is talking smack about Jim, Amber sticks by her husband’s side.
In honor of the fifth anniversary of when Amber was diagnosed with cancer, Amber and Jim take an intimate photo shoot together. Jim surprises his wife with the framed photos — some of which feature a topless Amber, showing off her scars — in a gallery for a super romantic dinner date.
“My husband is a gentle lion,” Amber said. “I wish the other girls could see this side of Jim.”
The two talk about the ladies, and it’s safe to assume that Jim is not going to make nice with them anytime soon. “They know nothing about family, faith or love. They really don’t.”
Referring to the bombshell he dropped in Florida, starting a major fight, Jim says, “I really don’t have any regrets because I probably did the right thing.”
Teresa Aprea Doesn’t Invite Teresa Giudice To Her Tasting Event
We got a glimpse of Teresa Aprea being pissed at Teresa Giudice when the ladies were at the spa, and turns out, the latter Teresa wasn’t invited to the former Teresa’s tasting event.
“We deserve the guest list, Teresa Aprea says. “No drama, no rumors.”
Dina and Melissa chat with twin Teresa to see what they can do to help her get over her anger for Teresa Giudice. “Did she let me down? Yes…I think she owes me a sincere apology…I’m all about forgiveness.”
Melissa Gorga & Dina Manzo Beg Teresa Giudice To Apologize
“Project Ladybug is the most important thing to me,” Dina says. “And anyone that’s nasty or negative, stay the f*** home.”
In an effort to avoid the nasty and the negative, Dina urges Teresa Giudice to simply apologize to the other Teresa so that things don’t get awkward at the charity event. Well, that doesn’t go over too well.
“I know in my heart I didn’t do anything wrong” Teresa says. “I have nothing to do with this at all. I will not be provoked…Dina definitely should have came to my defense more. This rumor, all it’s doing is causing drama.”
Melissa joins Dina in telling Teresa that all she has to do is say she’s sorry for being involved with talking about the hookup rumor, but Teresa won’t listen to sister-in-law.
“I have enough sh*t going on,” she says. “I can’t believe it. To even ask me that, especially with what I’m going through. Just leave me alone…I’m not bowing down to anyone.”
(Except the judge.)
Too soon?

Victor Rasuk Goes from "Gang Banging" to 'Stalker'

Off the Cuff' Podcast: Victor Rasuk Goes from "Gang Banging" to 'Stalker'
There was something we had to get off our chest when Victor Rasuk joined #pretapodcasts to chat about his new CBS show Stalker. And that thing was How To Make it In America.
"I'm still so mad that they cancelled it," Rasuk admits when we bring up the beloved but short-lived HBO comedy that briefly but rightfully made Rasuk a household name. But the actor has quickly moved on to to bigger and brighter (or, perhaps, darker) things, with a primetime drama premiering this fall and a big role in 2015's Fifty Shades of Grey.
We ask him about the troubling subject matter at the center of Stalker, which features a level of violence that has so far been shocking to some audiences.
"Our intention is not to show people how to stalk," he explains. "It's not glorifying stalking. If anything it shows people how not to be victims."
Rasuk also tells us what it was like growing up the son of Dominican immigrants in Manhattan's Lower East Side, where he nearly fell into gang life before discovering a love of performing at New York's prestigious Professional Performing Arts High School school (with classmates like Jesse Eisenberg).
"I was so skinny when I was fifteen," he says. "Can you imagine me gang banging? My wife beaters, my tank tops, were baggy on me."
Luckily the acting stuck and he's been working steadily since starring in 2002's break-out indie Raising Victor Vargas. His upcoming turn as Jose in 50 Shades could propel Rasuk into a whole new level of stardom if the book's fans follow their beloved characters into the theater.
"I'd be lying," he admits, "if I didn't say, obviously, I wanted to be a part of the phenomenon."

Fashion week face-off: Who had the best front row of Spring 2015?

As Paris Fashion Week comes to an end, it’s with our great discontentment to bid adieu to SS15 Fashion Month (cue the violins). While we witnessed an insanely awesome display of street style in New York, London, Milan, and Paris, we just can’t forget our favourite celebs who dutifully sat front row at all of the best shows. Starting in New York, we commended Rihanna for rocking a patent navy anorak and matching bucket hat at Alexander Wang, while Nicki Minaj looked sporty in a matching colour-block top and skirt sitting alongside American Horror Story actress Lauren Hutton who opted for a more conservative look in a grey pantsuit. At the Michael Kors show, we spotted Mary J. Blige and Jada Pinkett Smith looking classic-chic in monochromatic ensembles, as well as Jessica Chastain and Olivia Munn, who both wore floral prints, showing off the designers more feminine designs.
Givenchy Front Row Spring 2015
As we crossed the pond over to London town, Cara Delevigne seriously won the sartorial game as she wore a sleek navy pantsuit paired with sneakers and no shirt (obviously) front row at Burberry. Also at the show was Kate Moss, who showed off the fashion house’s iconic trench coat in an all black ensemble. Over in Milan, we couldn’t help but obsess over the more edgier looks spotted front row at Versace where Heidi Klum and Bella Thorne rocked thigh-high boots with leather jackets. Looking equally as impressive was Coco Rocha who rocked a red military-inspired mini dress by Versace that accentuated her recently blunt-chopped locks.
Last, but not least, PFW captured our hearts as North West was a prominent front row attendee who was seen matching her mam Kim Kardashian in elegant black lace at Givenchy. Showing us that fashion runs in the family, we swooned over Poppy Delevigne’s sweet floral Chanel number that she wore to Lagerfeld’s ‘feminist protest’ show, while Michelle Williams won our hearts with a textured blue dress at Louis Vuitton. Finally, we’ve got to give a shout out to the fresh faces who graced the front row at Miu Miu, including Hailee Steinfeld, Liv Tyler and Nicola Peltz who all effortlessly rocked the fashion houses’ feminine frocks. While we will be counting down the days until Fall 2015 fashion month, we’re happy to say goodbye so we can catch up on Scandal and finally get some sleep. Au Revoir for now Fashion Month!

Paris Fashion Week: Getting sentimental at Chloe

Gaby Aghion, who founded Chloe in 1952, died Saturday at age 93. So the house’s current designer, Clare Waight Keller, dedicated the spring 2015 collection to her.
Aghion staged her first fashion show at Paris’ famous writers and artists’ hangout Café de Flore, firmly establishing the label’s association with the Left Bank bohemian lifestyle. And as a designer, she helped to define the look, or attitude, of boho chic.
Since she retired, there has been a string of designers at Chloe, including Karl Lagerfeld in the 1960s and '70s, and later, Stella McCartney and Phoebe Philo.
Chloe Spring/Summer 2015 Runway Collection
The inspiration for Keller’s spring Chloe collection was modern folklore and “fabrics that tell stories,” the show notes said. “Authenticity of spirit, soulful, honest and individual.” That translated as a cream, patched lace mini dress meant, perhaps, to look like it was made from your grandmother’s lace doilies, a blue sweatshirt lovingly sun-faded, maybe after years of summer fun, worn with a long button-front denim maxi skirt; and a cream maxi dress covered in fraying folkloric embroidery that could just has well have been a treasured souvenir from an exotic getaway.
In between, there were airy gauze gowns with delicate lace insets; ring-pierced lace tops and mini dresses; utilitarian-looking shorts, jackets and tops, and wedge-sole gladiator sandals to keep things grounded.
It was interesting to see this collection immediately after Philo’s Celine. Both Philo and Keller were playing with notions of sentimentality, trying to create luxury goods imbued with a kind of intimacy, and individual history. But Philo’s collection won out, mostly because the fabrics were more special, and the details more unexpected.

Miranda Kerr gets the Mario Testino treatment

Miranda Kerr gets the Mario Testino treatment as she cements her sexy look in Geisha-inspired photo shoot for Vogue Japan's 15th anniversary
The feline eyes are the same, as are those famous dimples, and that alluring look.
But professional poser Miranda Kerr has been given the Mario Testino treatment and transformed into a sexy Geisha for the cover of Vogue Japan to mark its 15th anniversary.
The 31-year-old Australian model is captured by the acclaimed royal photographer in a series of Japanese ensembles with her dyed raven locks piled into a tall bun, contrasting with pale skin and lashings of mascara.
Gracing the cover of the November 2014 issue, she is almost unrecognisable, showing that her unique look is highly versatile.
In one shot she flashes a glimpse of cleavage in a sky blue dress that grazes her thighs as her beehive hair, dyed blue at the tips, billows in the fake studio breeze.
The dense colour of her locks serves to accentuate her azure eyes as the Australian beauty gazes seductively into the camera lens.
Windswept: The 31-year-old flashes a glimpse of cleavage in a sky blue dress that grazes her thighs
And in another, she wears Japanese-style bandage moccasins teamed with a mishmash of tribal prints for a warrior-inspired look.
All in all, it's a very different look for the former Victoria Secrets model, courtesy of the favourite photographer of the late Princess Diana and the British royals.
Miranda, who confirmed the end of her marriage with Orlando Bloom in October 2013, lives in New York with their young son Flynn.
She and her Hollywood heartthrob ex co-parent the three-year-old and are said to be on good terms.
But in an interview with The Sunday Times Style magazine last month, she revealed that she likes to dispatch her nanny with the toddler when he is staying with his dad.
She admitted: ‘The nanny is with him all the time when he is with Orlando; don’t get me wrong, he’s a great dad, it’s just me being a protective mother and wanting to make sure all his needs are met.'
The Sydney-born star maintains she is single, despite persistent rumours of an on-going romance with Australian businessman, James Packer

Best of London Fashion Week: Our 5 favourite beauty looks from the runways

We know everyone is already switched over into Milan-mode, but let’s take a beauty breather before diving head on into MFW and recall some of the best looks from London Fashion Week.
1. Connecting the dots at Preen
With the Massai cricket team as her muse, Val Garland used a brow marker (M.A.C’s Penultimate) to decorate models’ faces with freckles. She applied them so liberally that we’re sure she must have drained several ink cartridges.
London Fashion Week Top Beauty Trends
2. Purple heart at Matthew Williamson
The pretty and feminine wash of violet Charlotte Tilbury brushed on lids was inspired by a blooming hibiscus flower. She wasn’t the first to use it: Tom Pecheux picked a similar shade for eyes at Derek Lam. In our experience, what Pecheux does in New York often kicks off a bigger overall beauty trend, so let’s see where it pops up next.
3. Cocktail hour at Antonio Berardi
We love a statement lip that involves more than just a single bullet and brush. So we were even more enamored with these lacquered mouths when we learned that Val Garland mixed multiple textures and tools—pencils, glosses, loose pigments—to create them.
4. Ombré eyes at Holly Fulton
Makeup artist Andrew Gallimore dragged blue and white liner along the lower lash line, creating a fade between the two that was meant to recall the reflection of a pool. Refreshing in its simplicity.
5. Debbie Harry hair at Tom Ford
Hair in London (and New York for that matter) didn’t really wow us: lots of centre parts, waves, braids—quelle surprise. But even though we’ve seen wigs the last few seasons, we’re still not tired of them. Clearly Tom Ford isn’t either. After cutting and dying the man-made mops to complement each model’s skin tone, Sam McKnight upped their messy, rock and roll edge with a razor and a texturizing spray.

L.A. Opera season starts with gala honoring Zev Yaroslavsky

The event: Saturday’s Opera Ball kicked off the L.A. Opera season in lavish art deco style, in keeping with the night’s Roaring 20s version of Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Traviata” at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, starring Placido Domingo, Nino Machaidze and Arturo Chacon-Cruz.
The reception: Kate Walsh of “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Private Practice” and the upcoming series “Bad Judge” served as official hostess of the pre-opera cocktail party, where she talked of growing up with opera. Coming from a family of opera aficionados, which included a grandfather who sang light opera, Walsh said, “We’re all such big opera fans that my mother named her dog, ‘Puccini.’ ”
The gala dinner: As the band played a mix of pop music and 1920s classics, guests dined and danced on the Music Center Plaza, all done up in crystal chandeliers and centerpieces dripping in feathers, flowers, crystals and pearls. Between courses, an explosion of fireworks heralded Domingo’s appearance onstage. Domingo — the opera’s general director — then introduced the cast and creative team.
The crowd: Among others attending the opera were Stana Katic of “Castle,” Emmy Rossum of “Shameless,” Bruno Bichir and Stefanie Sherk of “The Bridge,” L.A. Opera president and chief executive Christopher Koelsch and opera supporters Eva Stern and board chair Marc Stern, Carol Colburn Grigor and Murray Grigor, Claude and Alfred Mann, Marilyn Ziering, Selim Zilka, Kathy Baxter and former ambassador Frank Baxter, and production underwriters Milan Panic, Barbara Augusta Teichert and Joyce and Aubrey Chernick. Mary Hayley, Catherine Marcus and Jill Baldauf headed the gala committee.
“I’m so happy I’m here,” said Bichir at the gala, particularly enthusiastic about the opera’s second act, noting Domingo’s “power” and “energy.”
LA Opera Gala
Quotes of note: The evening honored outgoing county Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, and Stern brought him to the stage, calling him “one of the greatest stars in the galaxy of the Los Angeles Opera.” (Yaroslavsky earned the title "maestro" for conducting the national anthem at the start of the program, before passing the baton on to opera conductor James Conlon, and he appeared as an extra in a crowd scene in the opera.)
“Thanks to you, Los Angeles is a more beautiful place,” Domingo said.
The numbers: With 500 guests, tickets priced from $2,500 and tables ranging up to $100,000, the opera tabulated $1.5 million in proceeds.
The production: “La Traviata” is scheduled to continue through Sept. 28. For further information, call (213) 972-8001.

Decked Out, Broadway Edition: Keke Palmer's 4 Cinderella Looks

On Tuesday night, Keke Palmer will slip into a pair of glass slippers and make her Broadway debut on Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella as the title role. Before she hits the stage with Sherri Shepherd (as Palmer's character's evil stepmother, Madame) on opening night, we stopped by the Tricone Costumes studio last week to see how the 21-year-old actress-singer transforms into the famous princess with Tony award-winning costume designer William Ivey Long.
When Palmer first heard that she landed her role, she was "shocked," but it made her realize that "if you really try and put your best foot forward, things really can happen, so it was a kind of like a moment of what I believe was truly right."
Since prepping and rehearsing for her first theater production, the Masters of Sex star tells Pret-a-Reporter that she's learned to become much more discipline in her career and personal life. "It forces you to push yourself in ways you never knew you could be pushed. The repetition — just searching and learning, getting in the groove of things and making yourself to just keep going," she says.
For Palmer, she hopes the audience walks away after watching the show with the sense that "everything is possible." Seeing that she will be the first African-American actress to portray Cinderella on Broadway, she's proving that it is, indeed.
Below, we go behind the scenes of Palmer's four out of five looks (her wedding dress, not included) as Cinderella. Enjoy.
Though this peasant dress looks polished at the moment, the piece appears much more filthy during the show — or as Palmer says in between getting her hemline shorten or parts of her shirt tucked in, "It looks like it's been living in the woods for weeks."
"Many Cinderellas in the history of telling the story have Cinderella in grey because she's in cinders. I just thought, 'Who wants to see Cinderella in grey?' explains Long when deciding how to design the ensemble. "You can be influenced by the cinders, but you started out in a nice dress, so this is very warm — it's brick brown red, green."
Adds Palmer: "I think it's very expressive of her spirit, even when she's dirtied up."
"This is me in my own head: 'OMG girl, you look so beautiful! What are you going to do when you get out there. This is a dream come true girl. Girl, just enjoy it. Just trying to live in the moment. It's a moment I'll never forget,'" says Palmer when asked about how it feels to be wearing the gown, which Long notes that the bottom half contains 14 layers of mixed materials including sparkle sheer, brocade and nylon, with a mix of hotfix and Swarvoski jewels added on the top layer. Wondering how Palmer will be able to move while donning that much fabric? There's a hoop added at the top of the skirt so "it helps her go up the stairs," says the costume designer. In the production, Palmer borrows this coral and gold ensemble from stepsister Gabrielle, who turns out to be an ally, only to have her evil stepmother, Madame (Shepherd) rip it apart when she sees her wearing it. However, thanks to Cinderella's fairy godmother (Judy Kaye), the rags from this outfit are magically transformed to a gorgeous golden gown (pictured below)

Who did black and white best at BCBG MaxAzria?

Jamie Chung vs. Shay Mitchell: Who did black and white best at BCBG MaxAzria?
You know Fashion Week has officially kicked off when all social media platforms are bombarded with tweets and pics of runways, street style and backstage beauty, which of course gives us those stuck at home the biggest case of #FOMO. Case in point: BCBG Max Azria‘s Spring 2015 show. As one of the big-ticket shows to look forward to during New York Fashion Week, aside from catching a glimpse of the top bloggers and the hottest celebs sitting front row, this year the company partnered with LikeToKnow.it, the up and coming shopping app that allows followers to shop right from Instagram. Long story short, LikeToKnow.it influencers shared ready-to-shop runway shots on their accounts, and followers who were watching the show via the platform can instantaneously shop the collection simply by double tapping their fave runway look. How’s that for convenience!

Now let’s talk front row action. Black and white was the apparent theme, but amongst the crowd of trendsetters, two of Hollywood’s hottest actresses made sure all the attention was directed at them. Dressed in this fall’s must-have, the poncho, Sin City’s Jamie Chung rubbed shoulders with Amanda Crew and the Song sisters, Aimee and Dani. Staying cool in NYC’s humid weather, the Asian beauty teamed the fringed outerwear with a metallic halter crop top and high-waist black box pleated skirt to prove that summer ain’t over yet. Keeping to the monochromatic theme, Chung wore sky-high gladiator heels complete with tasseled details.
While we loved the fun and flirty outfit for Asian-American actress, Pretty Little Liars’ Shay Mitchell looked more business than usual, though not straying too far from her usual leggy ensembles. Opting for a sleeveless white mini dress, the actress styled her look with a black tuxedo-inspired vest on top for a tailored look. A sock bun on top and metallic toe-capped white slingbacks by Christian Louboutin to complete, this girl always hits all the right notes when it comes to rocking a casual cool look.

N.Y. Fashion Week: Timo Weiland mines Modernism, music for spring menswear

A flurry of men's brands fired the opening salvo of New York Fashion Week on Wednesday, a day before the first kitten heel is scheduled to hit the catwalk at the Lincoln Center tents. First out of the gate was Timo Weiland, which presented its men's collection (it offers both men's and women's) in the Refectory of the Highline Hotel here.
The inspiration: The label is a veteran of the CFDA Incubator program for up-and-coming brands and designers Weiland and Alan Eckstein said that some of the inspiration for the current collection actually came from a program-sponsored visit to Los Angeles.
"We went on this CFDA Incubator trip," Weiland said, "and we were just kind of engulfed by the ease and the feel of the Midcentury architecture and inspired by Julius Shulman's photography of the architecture — it's so clean, it's a modern classic, it never really feels outdated — it always feel fresh. Our friend Zelda Williams has this beautiful Midcentury house in the [Hollywood] Hills and one morning we cooked breakfast together and it was just out of this world."
Timo Weiland
The look: While there were some Modernist touches in evidence – primarily in a range of crisp black-and-white stripes – those could just as easily have been plucked from sports (a referee's shirt) or music (think English rockers of a certain stripe). Given the fact that Team Timo has a side gig doing DJ work around the city ("at museums and galleries and things like that," says Weiland), it's most likely the latter. The collection had an easygoing, laid-back luxe vibe to it, grounded in a palette of blacks, whites and navy blues with subtle pops of tiny floral patterns here and there. The sweatpant trouser silhouette that sprinted onto the fall and winter 2014 menswear scene everywhere and all at once is still very much in evidence, with iterations here including green linen and black and navy blue striped jersey.
Key pieces: The word "sweatshorts" is hardly (if ever) preceded by the word "must-have" but creative director Weiland, design director Eckstein and head designer Donna Kang have created a covetable contender: a roomy, drapey short-legged version of their sweatpant silhouette in a horizontal black and navy blue stripe that comes off like a lower-torso version of the Baja hoodie.
The verdict: With a collection of low-key luxe that needed to be viewed nearly as leisurely as it's worn, the Timo Weiland spring and summer 2015 menswear offering is precisely the kind of collection that might get lost in the shuffle if the men's and women's collections were showcased together.

Jessica Brown Findlay: ‘Downton Abbey’ Actress’ Alleged Sex Video Leaked

Jessica Brown Findlay, 24, has been targeted by the same mean hacker who has posted a slew of alleged nude photos and videos of celebrities this weekend. An alleged sex tape of Jessica was part of the release on Aug. 31.
Poor Jessica. The actress is most known for playing Lady Sybil on Downton Abbey, but now a video that allegedly shows Jessica engaged in a sex act with an unnamed man has surfaced online, according to The Independent.

Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez & More

Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez & More: Best Dressed Celebrities Of The Week
The biggest names from music and the small screen stepped out for award shows, but they weren’t the only ones that wowed us on the red carpet! While red carpet staples, (like Claire Danes and Halle Berry), didn’t disappoint, we were so excited to see so many stylish young stars really rock it. From Kendall Jenner to Peyton List, Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, see who dressed to impress and VOTE for who had the best outfit.
Taylor really surprised us when she sported her shortest look ever! The star put her long legs on full display in a really short outfit — and she looked so fierce. Sure, this isn’t an easy look to pull off — but Taylor commanded attention on the red carpet and totally owned the look like a pro. We’re loving this fierce side of Taylor!
While the red carpet was full of glam gowns, we also saw stylish separates that had a more edgy and casual vibe. Take, for instance, Kendall and Kylie Jenner! The teens are totally obsessed with crop tops, and they really rocked the look when they stepped out to celebrate their DuJour photo shoot at LAVO in NYC on Aug. 28. While Kylie showed more of her midriff, Kendall flaunted her black bra under her see through shirt. The party, presented by Juice Press, featured so many fabulous looks.
We loved these looks but they aren’t the only ones that stood out! Check out the best looks and VOTE for who you think deserves to be crowned best dressed of the week.

Kendall Jenner’s ‘VOGUE’ Debut — See Her Stunning Shoot

Kendall Jenner Vogue
Mere months after her big sis Kim Kardashian made her debut in Vogue, her younger sis is hot on her heels, featured in a very fashionable feature in the magazine. Her presence, (and the fact that she seems to be charming the fashion crowd), further solidifies the fact that Kendall Jenner is unstoppable as the model of the moment.
Shot by famed fashion photog Patrick Demarchelier, Kendall is all tied up in a neck scarf for the story. Although the reality teen got her start in swimsuit campaigns, she’s all covered up for her first Vogue feature — and she looks fabulous! Kendall shows off chic fall separates in a slew of prints, while her hair is pulled back, letting her gorgeous features to show right through. If you were simply flipping through the pages of the magazine you might not have even realized that Kendall was posing for the fall fashion story!
Considering the fact that she walked in Chanel and can be seen in Balamin’s Fall 2014 campaign, I’m not surprised in the slightest to see her grace the pages of Vogue — although I’m sure there will be many who disagree.
Personally, I think it’s so cool to see her featured in a fashion story. Kendall has expressed how passionate she is about modeling, and that’s just what she’s doing. The story has nothing to do with her famous family or the fact that she’s a household name — and that’s why I can’t get enough of it.

Matthew McConaughey & More Hottest Hunks At 2014 Emmys

The guys managed to look totally hot in the summer heat at the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, Aug. 25, and we had to narrow down our favorites!
Adam Levine was up for his show, The Voice, and he looked gorgeous. But who can’t admit that looking at Matthew McConaughey is just plain fun, he’s so hot!
Liev Schreiber rocked his suit, Seth Meyers, the host of the evening was hilarious and good looking and Chris Hardwick look smoldering!
Sofia Vergara looked absolutely stunning in her white gown, she made everyone’s head turn as usual. Julia Roberts looked stunning in an short, beaded gown, and Sarah Hyland downright stole the show! Her gown was beautiful, her hair was perfect and her makeup was flawless.
The fashion for men and women alike was totally on point! We just loved seeing what everyone wore but we’ve got to give the guys some major credit! The men of the night managed to almost outshine the women, because they were smokin’ hot!
We just love our favorite TV shows like, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Modern Family and True Detective, just to name a few. It’s so much fun to see our leading men on the red carpet, and especially how amazing they look off screen.

'She has an amazing figure

'She has an amazing figure, she's your typical girl next door' TOWIE'S Grace Andrews unveiled as toned body of new swimwear campaign
If Tom Pearce had any doubts about calling things off with Grace Andrews, he better look away now.
The TOWIE star has been unveiled as the face - and incredibly toned body - of a new swimwear brand and showcases her curves in the campaign imagery.
Grace, 25, has been hand-picked by Bahimi swimwear to be the new 'body' of its campaign.
If there's one thing those TOWIE girls like to do, it's to bring out the big glamour guns. And as photo shoot after photo shoot has shown, nowhere do they like to dress up more than at the pool.
Looking more Made In Chelsea than TOWIE, here Grace Andrews is making a serious style splash in this dramatic black bikini embellished with silky pearls and sparkling crystals which is from swimwear brand Bahimi (which she is now the face of) and can be purchased by clicking right.
A black bikini is one of our fail-safe holiday pieces but Grace's look has inspired us to take on the universally-flattering look with a new edge. If you want to up the ante on the black bikini game then why not shop our pick of contemporary styles below from the likes of Missguided and River Island?
Hand-picked: Speaking about their choice, a spokesperson said: 'Grace has an amazing figure, she is friendly, down to earth and your typical girl next door, therefore she is the perfect candidate for us'
'Grace Andrews is currently the body of the campaign as she signifies the Bahimi brand - she has an amazing figure, she is friendly, down to earth and your typical girl next door, therefore she is the perfect candidate for us,' a spokesperson for the brand told MailOnline.
'At Bahimi we understand the female body shape and the designs create that perfect fit to show off your best features that celebrate a woman's figure.'
Bahimi swimwear aims to flatter the female silhouette and with its strong bold colours and glamorous embellishments, the designers say it's 'chic, fun and effortless'.
And with her toned and tanned physique, Grace is certainly the perfect poster girl for the brand.
Grace made her debut in the ITV2 show when the 11th series kicked off in February and has since been involved in all the Brentwood-based drama.
Her 'are they, aren't they' romance with co-star Tom Pearce was a focal point of the popular reality show but the pair have since called things off after she was rumoured to be seeing her ex.

Lady Gaga snaps up fashion student's ENTIRE collection - and wears his tangerine suit in Singapore

The future's orange: Lady Gaga snaps up fashion student's ENTIRE collection - and wears his tangerine suit in Singapore
Fashion student Wilson PK thought he was going gaga when a superstar singer asked him to send over his designs.
The 23-year-old was approached by Lady Gaga's stylists who noticed his designs on show at a New York exhibition. At the time, Wilson PK was working for designer Alexander Wang in New York.
Lady Gaga then wore the fashionista's bright orange knit suit when she landed in South Korea last week.
The graduate of Central St Martins in London said the singer's entourage asked him to send over his entire collection.
Lady Gaga later posted photos of Wilson's work on her Instagram page and wrote 'stunning young recent graduate.'
Wilson, who is originally from Hong Kong but now lives in London says: 'It's a huge honour. This was the best thing that could have happened.
On trend: Lady Gaga noticed Wilson PK's collection at an exhibition while the fashion student was working for designer Alexander Wang in New York
'It was really incredible because she mentioned my name, which she doesn't usually do, and she called me a stunning student. I feel very lucky.
'I think she is amazing. She is doing something different and is showing a new aspect of beautiful.'
Wilson explained the inspiration for this collection came from his experience of coming out to his parents.
He added: 'They took it really hard - they almost wanted to disown me. For me this collection was very therapeutic.'
Wilson's former fashion and textile teacher at Cambridge Centre for sixth form studies, Charlotte Denton-Cowell, said there was 'never a dull moment' with him in her classes.
She explained: 'We always knew he would make it big, Lady Gaga wearing his recent outfits will give him fantastic exposure and most certainly give his career a major kick start.'

A rock solid set!

A rock solid set! Rita Ora flashes seriously toned abs as she performs in plastic cut-out bra and ripped denim jeans for energetic show at V festival
Rita Ora might have had to pull the plug on her performance at The Teen Choice Awards last week.
But she made up for it in spades when she appeared at day 2 of V Festival in Hylands Park, Chelmsford on Sunday.
The 23-year-old left nothing to the imagination when she took to the Arena stage in a cream plastic bra with sexy cut-outs at the front.
Giving her look something of a theme, the 23-year-old wore a giant pearl necklace and baggy ripped jeans which had the same pearls sewn on throughout, while her incredibly toned abs were on full display.
The blonde beauty was flanked by a group of back-up dancers clad in camouflage outfits who danced next to the star as she sung.
Earlier in the day the I Will Never Let You Down singer mingled backstage in the VIP area before her set. She opened her show with the popular hit RIP and also covered Beyonce and Coldplay.
That's shoe-business: On Thursday, she told her followers that she had some more exciting news, saying: '7 days until my debut @adidasoriginals collection is UNLEASHED!! #unstoppable #adidasoriginals'
Rita, who is currently collaborating with Adidas, wore shell toe trainers by the brand and continuing with the 90s trend, she wore her hair up in a high ponytail.
On Thursday, she told her followers that she had some more exciting news, saying: '7 days until my debut @adidasoriginals collection is UNLEASHED!! #unstoppable #adidasoriginals.'
Rita spent the day posting pictures of her most memorable moments at the festival and posted several pictures of herself rocking out on stage.
One picture of her bottom was captioned with the words: 'Me buns'.
Another shows her having her make-up done, with the words: 'Getting ready yesterday...hmmmm what to do today??!!! #Vfesttakeover.
The popular lady also shared a snap of herself snuggling up to her friend and fellow artist Sam Smith.
As MailOnline exclusively reported last week, Rita’s ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris blocked her from performing their song I Will Never Let You Down – which he owns the creative rights to – at the Teen Choice Awards.
Rita confirmed the report in an interview with Ryan: ‘For anybody who doesn’t understand how it works, he wrote and produced the song,' she said.
‘So he has to approve anything TV-wise for anybody who doesn’t get it. And obviously he owns the rights to it and he didn’t approve the Teen Choice Awards.
She wrote: 'V Fest with my baby @samsmithworld VMA'S were coming for you! #britishtakeover.'
The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards will broadcast live from the 'Fabulous' Forum in Southern California on Sunday, August 24.
Taylor Swift is just one of the acts who will be performing on the night.

Beauty review: Mai Couture Papiers are the practical make-up to apply on-the-go

We are all constantly in search of new nifty tricks and the latest it-products to add to our make-up routine. Mai Couture Papier could be the perfect new addition for those looking for practical makeup to apply on-the-go.
The Mai Couture Papiers are similar in appearance to a pad of post-it notes but include powder-infused papers of foundation, blush, highlight and bronzer.
The colour is applied using a similar technique to Blotting Papers which work by removing excess oil from the skin, however with Mai Couture’s Papiers colour is also transferred.
These ‘Papiers’ are not attempting to replace your pre-existing bronzers and highlighters but instead are attempting to provide a portable alternative and to eliminate the necessity of carrying around an array of pallets and brushes in your bag.
A Mai Couture spokesperson described the product as “the quick and chic way to create a flawless base and flash of colour on the go”. The emphasis of this newly launched product is ‘chic practicality’, refining the art of staying made-up with minimum hassle.
Millie Kendall MBE describes the Mai Couture booklets as being ideally suited for both festivals and beach holidays. For those craving to add an element of convenience to their beauty regime, the Mai Couture Papier booklets are an essential.

Ryan Seacrest Launches Color-Coded Suit Line at Macy's

From hosting American Idol to major red carpets, Ryan Seacrest has seen his fair share of suits — whether it's his own Burberry numbers or ones worn by the deluge of A-listers he interviews. Now the broadcaster turned business man is readying to launch his latest venture: Distinction — an affordable line of suits, shirts, cufflinks and ties at Macy's that boasts a "style-made-smart" color-matching system, allowing guys to put garments together using a numbered system. Pretty nifty. Also nifty: A complete suit starts at $550, with button-downs topping out at $69.50. There's even a tux.
Pret-a-Reporter sat down with the man of the hour to chat about the evolution of the brand, Seacrest's "husky" jeans days and what Burberry's Christopher Bailey — who until now has been Seacrest's go-to clothier — had to say about the line, which officially launches in Macy's stores in September and is available on now.
Congratulations. This must be some kind of superhero suit line since it comes from the master of multitasking.
I will tell you this: Every suit and tux is made so you can move quickly through life. The design is active, and you can move through life quickly and even put this together in a quick fashion. That was part of building this line — the ability of guys to find something they like and quickly put it on and stay on the move.
Today you're a fashion icon, but is it true there were some husky jeans in your closet back in the day?
I used to dread going back to school because my mother would say, "All right, we're going shopping and we're going to get some new jeans and new shirts." Then we'd always end up in the husky section to buy jeans, because that's what fit me. I didn't realize that "husky" was a nice way of saying I was chubby. I didn't love shopping back then.
What about now?
I love it now! One of the great perks of being on television is getting to put on your uniform and going out and playing the game. Going out onstage is like game day — you get to go out and put on your suit and play. So moments before I go out on Idol, [there's] that fun part of putting on a suit and feeling good in it and walking out and trying to convey the confidence that you get from putting on a good suit.
You're known to sport Burberry suits on American Idol. What was the conversation like between you and Burberry when you told them you were launching a suit line?
Christopher [Bailey] has made the most amazing suits and tuxes for me for over a decade. I have had the greatest opportunity, through him, to wear great clothes. I told him about this, and he said it was a great idea; he was very supportive of it … there was nothing but enthusiasm. He's a great friend.
What was the best piece of advice you received in the design process?
The best piece of advice was more of an understanding of how the business works inside. I don't know that I appreciate fully— when you have a line, there are many different partners inside that line that make the different products for you. And when we met with all of the best ones, our real initiative was to create this amazing line with great detail and have it be affordable.
Is it in your contract that you have to wear your suits at events like the Emmys?
I don't know if it's in a contract or not, but I will. I want to wear my tuxes on New Year's Eve. I want to wear my tuxes to the award shows. I love these suits.
Whose fashion do you admire, or are there any contemporaries you look to for style cues?
I look back to the Oscars, and I remember walking out with a white tuxedo jacket and black pants, and I thought, "I haven't seen a lot of guys do this recently, and it's a classic look." In walks Matthew McConaughey in a white jacket and black pants, in walks Jared Leto — white jacket, black pants. So, what it told me is that guys are, more than ever, into what they're wearing. They want to take pride and own it and make it something special. I'm always in awe of the guys who roll up at the Oscars. Kevin Spacey always has a great suit on. Leo always has a great tux on.
What's the one piece in your closet you can't get rid of?
Well, there's one I did just get rid of, and that was a cummerbund. I have a pair of, must be 10- or 15-year-old Croc-looking Nikes. They're backless, and you slide them on, and they're like Crocs Nike Airs. I wear them, and people make fun of me. My radio staff hates them.
Now that you have your own line, do you feel more pressure not to leave the house in jersey shorts?
No, if anything it's less pressure! You know what you're going to wear that night.

‘KUWTK': Scott Disick Gets Drunk & ‘Sloppy’

‘KUWTK': Scott Disick Gets Drunk & ‘Sloppy’ In Front Of Kim & Kourtney
Scott Disick, 31, has dealt with serious alcohol-related problems this year. And in this Sunday’s episode of KUWTK, Scott acts wasted as Kourtney Kardashian, 35, and Kim Kardashian, 33, get super annoyed with his “unpredictable” behavior.
Scott Disick Drunk In Front Of Kourtney & Kim — New ‘KUWTK’ Clip
Kourtney and Kim are so sick of Scott’s drunken antics in Miami, Florida on the Aug. 10 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The girls both get annoyed as Scott shakes his phone around and screams “my sh*t ain’t right!” at the dinner table. Kim tells Scott he should slow down his drinking.
“Maybe don’t drink anymore so you guys can have a good night. She wants to cuddle in bed and be normal,” Kim says to Scott. Kourtney agrees with her sis.
“This is just exactly what I don’t need. I just want to go to bed, get on a plane and get out of Miami,” Kourt admits about Scott’s drinking.
scott-disick-rehab-alcholic-spl-1
Kim also reveals her true opinions about Scott’s wild ways. “When Scott acts like this he’s really unpredictable. I get every once in a while is fine, but just not to this level. Not this hardcore,” Kim says.
Scott Disick: Quitting Drinking After Alcohol Poisoning?
This has no doubt been a rough year for Scott. Both of his parents passed away in less than three months — and it looks like he turned to partying to deal with his devastating losses.
However, after being hospitalized for alcohol poisoning in June, Scott has reportedly sworn off alcohol for good. “He stopped drinking cold turkey,” a source revealed to Us Weekly. “And promised he won’t drink again until after Kourtney gives birth.”
