And last night, those worlds converged as luxury skin care entrepreneur Julie Macklowe hosted her 40th birthday bash in grand fashion at a revived Upper East Side dining staple, La Goulue. Inside the reopened space, guests including Coralie and Dennis Paul, Aby and Samantha Rosen, and David and Libby Mugrabi sipped on cocktails, watched festively clad dancers, and nibbled on delectable bites from the French boîte. Afterward, everyone let their hair down and boogied late into the night to tracks spun by Questlove while a Flour Shop cake was a sweet punctuation to the evening.
