Josh Wood introduces the beauty dream team
There's a new power house in beauty and you'll find it at the Josh Wood Atelier.
Already known as the exclusive mecca for fabulous hair, the addition of Atelier Beauté turns the Notting Hill house into what Wood calls his "house of experts. Somewhere people could hand themselves over to the very best in the world," he explains.
Colourist to the stars Wood, has spent months turning his super cool salon into that much more - calling in an impressive team of beauty experts, as well as adding in a nail bar, tanning booth and treatment room, so that now you can get your mani, tan, face, wax and wellbeing sorted either side of your blow-dry. You'll also find 'The Cut' - the team's tight edit of, often hard-to-find products you can try and buy-to-go.
Opening this week, the hand-picked beauty stars are as impressive as the existing super hair squad. "After nearly 30 years of working in the beauty industry and alongside the best in the world I have put together a team of experts to deliver top-to-toe beauty in a way no one has concieved before," says Wood.
James Read (the founder of his eponymous brand and tanner to Rosie Hunginton-Whiteley and Lara Stone), Marian Newman and team (usually only found backstage at fashion shows, or leading their ad campaigns), brow-expert Jenna Treat , fitness specialist Steve Mellor (founder of Freedom2Train ) and trichologist Ricard Vila Nova are all taking up residence in the expert house.
The beauty brands that have made it are just as appealing - there'll be facials from Gazelli, Omorovicza and Natura Bisse (from their oyxgen pod pictured below), lashes by Flutter Couture , and have you heard about the Chanel nail station? From £25 for a 15 minute polish, you'll not only have access to Newman and her fashion nail team, but also every Chanel colour you can think of - plus some exclusive shades.
Be warned Wood, we'll check in but we may never leave.
